Nature of Research/Program Description: 

The STEM Diversity Research Programs prepare students to pursue and attain higher degrees in STEM. Our students gain research experience and opportunities for professional development while obtaining holistic support and mentoring.

Targeted Students: 
Programs aim to support and retain underrepresented undergraduates as they earn degrees in the biological sciences, physical sciences, mathematics, and engineering. The programs motivate participants through cooperative learning, internships hands-on, faculty-mentored research, and travel to professional conferences. Programs support to prepare them to compete successfully for entry into graduate programs leading to the Ph.D. in the fields of STEM.
Targeted Students/ Eligibity Requirements: 

Rising Junior or Senior Standing, have completed 80% of lower division courses in major, GPA 2.8 or above.
