In 2010, Pat dedicated his focus on the roots of climate change and founded Impossible Foods to replace beef as a major carbon emitter on earth. Pat's new technology enabled affordable and sustainable meats made directly from plants. Pat is a member of the US National Academy of Sciences and National Academy of Medicine and recipient of the National Academy of Sciences award in Molecular Biology and the American Cancer Society Medal of Honor.
