UCIRA Undergraduate Action Research Grant Application due 11/15

Saturday, January 1, 2011

UCIRA’s Undergraduate Arts Grants provide support for undergraduate-level artist-generated projects that foster innovation and campus and community engagement with the arts. We fund the development, completion or presentation of new work; arts and cultural projects with the capacity to have a significant impact on campus/community life; and the presentation of new scholarly research in the arts.  Projects may include, but are not limited to: exhibitions, performances, concerts, guest-artist visits, site-specific art, workshops, festivals and publications.

The Undergraduate Action Research awards, which range from $500-$2000, support student-led arts initiatives. Funds are available for any currently enrolled UC students or student group on a competitive basis. Applications are due November 15th of each year for projects taking place during the following Winter or Spring quarters, and April 15th for projects taking place during the following Fall or Winter quarters.
