Have you ever had a mentor help you with research or give you career advice?  Would you like to do the same for other students?

Or are you an undergraduate looking for a mentor?

Whether you want to become a mentor or a mentee, please join us for this coffee hour!

WHO: Undergrads, grads, post-docs, faculty – you!

WiSE is assisting Rebecca Anderson, the Undergraduate Research Coordinator, with creating a STEM mentoring community on campus.  We're looking for undergraduates who want to be mentees and grad students/postdoctoral researchers/faculty who want to be mentors.

At the coffee hour, Nadine Gassner (CBSE Grant Program Administrator) will talk briefly about what mentoring is and how it can benefit those involved.  Then, Rebecca will describe how mentees will be matched with mentors and the mentor/mentee activity timeline for this quarter.

If you can't attend the coffee hour but are interested in being a mentor or mentee, please e-mail Rebecca (rlanders@ucsc.edu).

Coffee, tea, and snacks will be served.
